Spring Summer 2014
Kiton dedicates a range of 15 exclusive items to the "Fibre of the Gods", fine vicuna super 180 and 200 fabrics in a colour palette dominated by shades of grey and a sequence of mellow and lustrous blues.
The next spring/summer Kiton collection confirms the irrefutable elegance of the suit. Garments designed for a contemporary and cosmopolitan gentleman: exclusive cuts and precious fabrics for suits and jackets presented in various textures and unique blends, in which melange colours predominate for a soft and fresh linen chambray effect. Two-piece suits in an exquisite selection of lightweight fabrics such as cashmere/linen, cashmere/silk and vicuna.
For spring/summer Kiton aims to bring the suit to the forefront as a symbol of total sublime elegance
The jacket, the iconic garment of the Kiton savoir-faire, flaunts a new shape: narrower lapels, slimmer sleeves, a shorter hem-length and a more fitted body. Trousers, too, have been re-thought and adjusted for a well-proportioned fit, designed for a new type of consumer, a younger client who increasingly appreciates and recognises Kiton’s distinctive elegance.
The shirt completes the look for the perfect gentleman; this, too, has been remodelled in line with the aesthetics dictated by the new fitted suit: consequentially, the collar and the all-over fit of the shirt have been recalculated and the sleeve is hand-stitched into the cuff creating a distinctive and original gathered effect.
